Easter will be here at the end of the week! I cannot believe it! We never forget the reason for this holiday, and always make it the main focus. BUT for me, an added bonus to the holiday is dressing our family up in our Easter Sunday best.
Normally, we don’t get too dressed up for church, so I enjoy getting a little dressier for Easter Sunday. I love coordinating our family outfits and thankfully the kids are still at an age that they like what I pick out. Here are my top tips for picking out family outfits:
Order Fast: If you haven’t already you need to be shopping for your family pretty quickly. I’ve found it gets pretty picked over when trying to find outfits for each of the boys as it gets closer to the holiday. Especially when you would like to have your kids outfits coordinated.
Have fun with color: Typically, I like to stick with pastels or brights for Easter. It’s spring so I like to brighten it to match with the season. Incorporate pinks, purples, yellow, and blues.
Coordinate children: I love matching my twin girls and boys for Easter. I plan to match Avea and Eliana and Abram and Levi and then have Anaya, Malachi, Josiah and Elijah coordinate with similar colors. Most children’s stores have Easter coordinating sets that will allow you to mix and match pieces that are part of one collection.
Pick a focal point: For Easter, most times I will make my outfit the focal point and choose a bold print or pattern and then keep the rest of the outfits more simple but still coordinating.
