Ever since I was a little girl, my dream was to be a mommy. I wanted a lot of kids and really hoped for multiples. I grew up, got married and naively thought I’d just get pregnant whenever we were ready. BUT I hadn’t had a menstrual cycle since I was 15 years old and my husband had testicular cancer when he was 21.

(Pre-kids) I used to create meal plans for my friends in college (which is funny because I never have been one to follow a recipe). I used to experiment and throw random food together until I liked how it tasted and then I’d write it up and share with anyone interested.

After praying long and hard, we decided as a family it was best for Fred to step down from his leadership role and that we would homeschool full time.
